Vanilla Dream ice cream with apple strudel, icing sugar and mint leaves.
One apple strudel
8 scoops of Mövenpick Vanilla Dream
A little icing sugar
8 sheets of filo pastry
4 apples, peeled and cut into small cubes
2 tablespoons caster sugar
2 tablespoons dried white raisins, pre-soaked
Place the filo pastry on a sheet of baking paper and cover with melted butter.
Mix the cubed apple with sugar and dried raisins, and spread the mixture over the lower half of the pastry.
Fold the long sides together and roll, using the baking paper.
Place the strudel on a baking tray covered with baking paper and cover with melted butter.
Preheat the oven to 200 °C and place the tray on the middle shelf.
Cook for 20 minutes at 200 °C.
Remove the strudel from the oven, cover with melted butter and leave to cool a little.
Dust the strudel with icing sugar and cut into pieces.
Place a portion of strudel on a plate, and garnish with mint leaves.
Serve with two scoops of Mövenpick Vanilla Dream ice cream.
