Cinnamon ice cream with Doughnuts

Ingredients

Batter:

150g flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
150ml water, beer or white wine
2 egg yolks
1 teaspoon oil
2 egg whites
3-4 apples, peeled and cored, cut into 1cm slices
immediately sprinkle with lemon juice  oil for frying

Decoration:

Cinnamon sugar
Cinnamon Ice Cream
Maple Walnut Ice Cream

Preparation

Combine the flour and the salt in a bowl. Mix the water, beer or wine with the oil. Starting from the middle, stir the liquid into the flour. Leave to soak at room temperature for 30 minutes. Fold in the apple slices and fry both sides at 180°C until nicely browned. Drain well.

Plating: Dust the warm apple fritters with cinnamon sugar and serve with scoops of  Cinnamon and Maple Walnut ice cream.
